Q: Can I board my horse only the months that I am attending IUP?
A: Yes, we accept temporary boarding on a limited basis, depending on the stalls we have available. In fact, Big Oak is a great place to board your horse during school months because we have great trails for fall and a new indoor for winter and rainy spring riding.
Q: Does Big Oak attend any rated shows?
A: Yes, as long as there is interest, Big Oak is willing to travel to nearly any show.
Q: Can anyone use the trails at Big Oak?
A: Our trails are open to all boarders and clients. As a safety precaution, we ask that you make a staff member aware of when you are leaving for a trail, what direction you are heading, and when you expect to return.
Q: Are there extra services that Big Oak can provide if I am not able to come out to the barn?
A: The staff at Big Oak takes great pride in caring for all of our horses. We will be available to hold horses for the farrier and vet. Working with our staff, you may also make arrangements for other services, such as exercise or grooming.
Q: Can I add a photo to the photo gallery?
A: Yes, just click on "add image to this gallery" at the bottom of any of the pages. Browse for the image you are looking for in your files and then post the image. The image may be no more than 2.4 kB.
